Well, so far this is my fave film of 2026.

At the movies: I Want Your Sex.
Cooper Hoffman: a star is born. It's also very good to have Gregg Araki back, though I wish we could have gotten Season 2 of Now Apocalypse.
Labels:

At the movies: Under The Cherry Moon.
You know what movie rules? Under The Cherry Moon. I'm fine with making that declarative statement. It's a joy and a delight.
Famous People Talked to Me: Philip Oakey from The Human League.
It's only now, a while after our conversation, that I realize what a big deal it was to talk to Philip Oakey.
At the movies: Leviticus.
I had some issues with this one, specifically it's ending. But it's still worth checking out. There's some really interesting cultural perspectives at play, and the production design and acting are great. But give this a read, and then in a couple months I can get into what doesn't work for me.
