Famous People Talked to me: Gone Girl at the NYFF.
Another year, another exceptional New York Film Festival. The big writeup is coming soon, but here's the opening night film, David Fincher's Gone Girl, with its big cast and crew interview/discussion/press conference. The film is exceptional, very Verhoevian, and part of its pleasures are seeing it with an audience being buffeted about by its gloriously sick twists and turns.

Why You should come to Midnight Movies at the Belcourt.
So I mentioned the proposal that happened at a midnight screening of The Room a little while back, and there's video. I pop up around 2 minutes in, the proposal happens at 2:55.
Never a dull moment, and that's how it should be.

Another one of those interviews I wish I'd been involved in.

As everyone knows, Wendy and Lisa are two of my favorite people in the world. So here's a really informative and dishy interview where they refer to Prince as a 'fancy lesbian.' I love these ladies. And the Internet. Thanks, Out magazine.
