So I got to do another piece for The AV Club, this time about Whoopi Goldberg's performance in 1986's Jumpin' Jack Flash. I feel like I've got a whole book twirling around inside my head on her L80s (that's the portmanteau for "late 80s" I'm trying to make happen) trilogy of JJF, Burglar, and The Telephone. Some people have pointed out my negative concerns regarding Sarah Palin, and have asked me why I couldn't find something positive to say regarding her.

So let me say this, the positive aspect of Sarah Palin's candidacy.
