I love these sorts of hierarchical challenges/exercises, but the problem is that I find it's hard to feel the same way about anything in the same way for extended periods of time, so understand that there is a flux to it all. What an awesome list. One of the things that ruined The Lovely Bones for me was knowing it could have been made by Lynne Ramsay.
The New World and In the Mood for Love might be my top two.
